>He is generally seen with a smiling face or if not, a tired sleepy expression as a result of his ability. Eun-kyung believes that smiling is the least he could do for victims stuck in a compromised and otherwise dangerous situation and reassure them that they will be rescued. He thinks that to be welcomed by a cheery expression could lessen their worries than showing a pained or panicked one. Despite his usual gruff remarks, he is actually a kind-hearted person deep inside and wishes nothing more than to rescue victims whole-heartedly. As an after-effect of his ability, he becomes lethargic most of the time but he still keeps a smile pasted on his face. Despite the setbacks of his skill, he's very devoted to his work and is a hopeless perfectionist.

>As he doesn't have much contact with people before coming to Shadow, Eun-Kyung sports a rather bratty attitude on the outside. Course and unrelenting with zero-social skills outside of transactional and work-related conversations. He is quick to anger and usually responds with sharp words while still wearing a bright smiling face. He does not know how to treat his comrades amiably as he's actually socially-awkward and bad with expressing his feelings with words. Due to this traits, he comes off as unfriendly and solitary. Lastly, he's very persistent to a fault. Even if it exhausts him to the point of passing out, he will use his skill to save the victims and refuse to listen to others - he's ultra hard headed.

> He can read through an object's memory through physical contact. Using this skill on walls/grounds allows him to draw out an accurate map of an area and is useful in tracking down victims stuck beneath the earth, in need of rescuing.

> This skill is effective only on non-living things

> Information obtained from reading objects is vast as a user is forced to relieve each second in a shorter period of time (ex - a memory of 24 hours compressed into a minute), this causes extreme fatigue and the user is required to rest more frequently. This means that the information gathered from an object is determined by a user's stamina and mind strength.

>It is impossible to choose which exact instance user will read in an object's memory so they will have to search the memory one by one in order to draw out the accurate info and map.

> A seemingly plain black notebook which he uses to draw out maps of an area. Whatever is drawn can be transmitted electronically thus allows the exchange of information in real time and spread the map info to his teams.

♠ HISTORY ♠

>Eun-Kyung was born with heart problems which prevented him from making any friends and enjoying a normal childhood. He was bedridden most of the time and his only companions were the kind nurses, doctors and his parents.

>He spent his time immersed in books and studying to pass the time. He considered it boring and earnestly wished to stop his treatment and just live his last days normally - go to school and run around with the other kids his age. However, he worried for his hard-working parents and decided to continue his treatment to get better. Eun-kyung was already a hopeless case, as stated by the doctors and that he doesn't have that much time to live. Even he believed it was impossible to be saved but he kept brushing the thought away, stayed positive and always smiled to reassure his parents.

>On the day of his surgery, he was put to sleep.

>When Eun-Kyung woke up, he was greeted by the hopeful gazes of his mother and father and a few unknown personas standing by the door. He ignored those people at that time and didn't think anything of it. The thought was then completely forgotten when he was told that the procedure was successful. He was already eighteen at that time. 

>Though he did got better and no longer suffered any pains from his chest, he was still weak as a result of him being bedridden most of his life. He still wasn't able to go to a normal school and was instead home-tutored. a few weeks after his supposed surgery, he noticed a weird phenomenon whenever he touches something. His mind will be flooded with unknown images. He disregarded it at first but the images became more frequent. When he informed his parents about this, they showed a dejected face and instructed him to go sleep. The very next day, he was taken by agents from the government.

>He learned that to save his life, his parents agreed to let the government conduct the experiment on him but in exchange, he will be working with them once he showed signs of a supernatural ability. Instead of a normal school, Eun-kyung went to be trained by the government in using his powers. He was allowed to go home once a week till he completely master his skill and work with Shadow. 

>He officially joined Shadow a few months after.
